The Consortium for Ocean Leadership (COL) was using an extremely outdated website and it was no longer useful to the organization. Working with our public affairs and communication team, I designed and rebuilt OceanLeadership.org to make it more visually appealing and easy to maintain. We chose to build on the WordPress platform using a robust theme that added previously unavailable functionality. In addition to serving COL’s needs, the site is used as a virtual symposium portal for a variety of events. I created the branding to be flexible to showcase these events while retaining COL as the clear host.
